September looks to be a pretty packed month in the world of mobile technology, but it’s not only the phenomenally hyped new iPhone that will get an official unveiling next month.
Huawei is doing its bit to contribute to a busy monthly schedule, sending out event invited for the launch of their newest, and as yet unknown, flagship phone model…
According to rumours, the phone is likely to be the Ascend mate 7, a phablet phone that, according to some rumours, will apparently come in two variants. Not much is known about the device officially, but it looks like one variant could sport a QHD display whilst the other goes for QHD, just like Oppo’s Find 7 flagship.
Other rumoured specifications include the fact that the phone will allegedly measure 6 inches, contain Huawei’s proprietary Kirin 920 octa-core processor and will sport a 13MP back camera plus a 5MP front snapper. The device will likely run Android 4.4 skinned with Huawei’s Emotion UI 3.0. We're guessing from the look of the invite that we'll also see a fingerprint scanner featured.
The official launch of the device is slated for September 4th, so we’ll be getting more concrete details on the Ascend Mate 7 - if that is what it’s called - then.
