Pokemon Go needs
an extremely powerful phone, requiring
a ridiculously powerful processor, a monster of a GPU to run the complex and intricate graphics, and a huge amount of RAM by today's standards.
However it runs, the essential requirement is the 4.4
minimum Android version
or the 8 minimum iOS version,
which requires either a very recently released mobile device, or one that can be easily
updated.
